For those that were able to attend Salesforce’s annual Dreamforce conference in person in San Francisco in September, the energy of the Trailblazer Community was undeniable. It demonstrated that a return to in-person community events while maintaining the appropriate safety protocols, is possible. Meeting up with other Trailblazers for networking, knowledge sharing and even hugs, fist bumps or air high fives infused some much-needed energy and connection into the community.

Tahoe Dreamin’ 2021 Trailblazer Community Fund
We recognize the effect that going to in-person events and connecting with other Trailblazers can have on someone’s career trajectory. That’s why we are excited to announce that we are partnering with Climb Hire to send Climbers to Tahoe Dreamin’ with the help of your donations and corporate sponsorships. We will have a Trailblazer Community meetup with these Trailblazers to build their social capital and make connections. It will also be a chance to find out more about the Climb Hire program and how you can volunteer.
Giving Back to South Lake Tahoe
You have likely heard in the news that the Tahoe region was hit hard by wildfires this season. The area is ready to welcome visitors and we encourage you to attend in order to help the local economy. We are also looking for ways to help the community on the Saturday after the conference. Stay tuned for more info!
The Tahoe Dreamin’ Committee is committed to adhering to all necessary Covid-19 safety protocols for the safety of attendees and the local community. Proof of vaccination will be required in order to attend the event. Additionally, masks will be required in all indoor venues. We will also follow any additional local ordinances in place at the time. If you have a medical exemption from wearing a mask or receiving a vaccination, we ask that you defer attendance until next year’s conference. Please remember that the committee is made up of volunteers trying to provide a safe event.
