Salesforce Launches New Partner Program

By Christine Marshall

As we all know, implementing and using Salesforce to get the greatest return on investment demands a high level of expertise. Oftentimes, businesses turn to Partners to help them achieve their goals and ensure a successful implementation of Salesforce.

The Salesforce Partner Program enables consulting partners to grow a successful business by providing expertise, guidance and innovative tools to help them solve business challenges. The Salesforce Partner Program has undergone some fantastic changes for 2022 (FY23) that we’re so excited to share with you.

Managed Service Provider (MSP) Program

There’s a new way to partner with Salesforce via the Managed Service Provider (MSP) Program. This program is available to existing Consulting Partners and aims to provide insight and support with the MSP business model.

Pardot Plus

To support with prospect engagement, Ridge, Crest, Summit ISV, and Consulting Partners will get access to a full production license for Pardot Plus. Pardot Plus allows Partners to accelerate lead generation, automate marketing efforts and provide powerful analyses.

No More Program Fees

Traditionally, Partners had to pay annual program fees to be a Consulting Partner at Salesforce. These fees have since been removed (FY2023) and instead, Salesforce is encouraging Partners to invest their money into growing their business.

Technical Support

All Partners will now benefit from having access to the Premier Success Plan! This plan provides 24/7 technical support from dedicated engineers, quicker response times and unlimited developer support. Since Consulting Partners can be any size, from small to huge teams, the Premier Success Plan will be particularly beneficial to smaller businesses who may have less in-house support.

Enhanced Partner Community Tracker

New enhancements will be coming to the Partner Community Tracker later this year, including developments to Partner Navigator and Navigator objectives. Partner Navigator recognizes Partners for their demonstrated areas of expertise and this affects how Partners appear on the AppExchange. Salesforce is developing new and enhanced search capabilities that will improve the ability to search for specific Salesforce expertise, easily matching businesses with Consulting Partners.

AppExchange Chat

Visibility on the AppExchange is critical to the success of any Salesforce Partner. AppExchange Chat is one of the new features available to Partners to optimize their AppExchange listing.

AppExchange Chat (built in collaboration with Qualified), makes it easy to connect with partners in real time using a chat widget! Available on any AppExchange listing, this great new feature removes the need to navigate away from the cloud marketplace and provides a much quicker way to get answers fast– a must in today’s fast-paced world.

Thank you so much for a fantastic article! I was excited about enrolling; however, I could not move forward during my recent application process because I didn't have a website. A LinkedIn Company Page is not acceptable either. I hope this helps others interested in enrolling!
