Salesforce AppExchange Launches Live Chat and Trusted Reviews

By Christine Marshall

As a Salesforce Admin, Developer or Consultant, where is the first place you go when you want to extend native functionality? Chances are, it’s the AppExchange, Salesforce’s cloud marketplace.

The AppExchange has 6000+ apps and consultant listings; with so many solutions and services, how do you successfully navigate hundreds of AppExchange reviews to find the perfect product for your requirements?

In this article, we’ll explore Trusted Reviews and AppExchange Chat; both designed to help you connect with partners and make informed business decisions.

AppExchange Trusted Reviews

Choose solutions with confidence by viewing trusted reviews from Salesforce experts. When searching for an app or partner, you will now see each reviewer’s status in the ecosystem that indicates their expertise.

  • Salesforce MVP – MVPs are nominated by their community and chosen by Salesforce for being product experts who share their expertise, demonstrating leadership and innovation.
  • Trailhead Ranger – Rangers have over 100 Trailhead badges, displaying measurable product knowledge and a commitment to learning.
  • Top Reviewer – AppExchange community members with many reviews and contributions that have helped others make smart business decisions.

AppExchange Chat

So you’ve checked out an app on the AppExchange, read the reviews, spotted a few community experts leaving positive feedback, but you’re still not sure. After all, adding any product to your Salesforce stack is a big decision, so you need to be sure you’re picking a winner.

AppExchange Chat, built in collaboration with Qualified, makes it easy to connect with partners in real time via a chat widget, directly from the AppExchange listing. This removes the need to navigate away from the AppExchange and provides a much quicker way to get answers fast – a must in today’s fast-paced world.

ISV and consulting partners can opt to include the chat widget in their AppExchange listings page and there is a dedicated page for those with chat enabled here

These two new features are a fantastic addition to the AppExchange, enabling easier collaboration and app selection, bringing customers and partners closer than ever.
