Salesforce and AGSN Incorporated have announced a “360-Degree” partnership that will work to deliver AI solutions across enterprise platforms over the next few years.
AGSN, an IT services and solutions provider specializing in the commercial and government sectors, will integrate Salesforce’s Agentforce into its digital engineering practice, accelerating innovation and increasing client-to-time value.
What Is AGSN?
AGSN supports corporate enterprises and government organizations in “developing, implementing, and operating critical IT and business solutions”.
Their focus is now heavily centered on helping businesses in these sectors deliver measurable value with artificial intelligence, with clients in the Fortune 500, intelligence, and security sectors, including the Department of Defence.
How Will This Partnership Work?
Agentforce is at the center of this partnership and allows AGSN to apply and scale agentic capabilities within its own business. AGSN reports that co-innovation with Salesforce on Agentforce deployments across enterprise clients will also be a particular focus area.
The partnership will benefit Salesforce by facilitating the development of intelligent automation frameworks, platform-based agentic solutions, and integrated data ecosystems. These advancements are designed to improve customer engagement and streamline decision-making processes.
Perhaps most importantly, this partnership will aid in the creation of scalable frameworks for customers across commercial industries and the federal government.
“Salesforce is eager to support ASGN’s pivotal role in delivering the Agentic Enterprise vision for our customers,” said Jim Steele, Salesforce’s President, Global Strategic Customers & Partners. “By integrating Agentforce, ASGN will build intelligent ecosystems where AI agents and human creativity seamlessly converge, accelerating innovation, delivering transformative AI solutions, and driving customer success.”
Salesforce’s Place in Government
Salesforce is no stranger to the public sector. Earlier this year, it announced Agentforce for Public Sector, and in September, it launched Missionforce, a new business arm dedicated to meeting the needs of defense, intelligence, and aerospace agencies.
The CRM giant has also gone head-to-head with data company Palantir in the government sector, with CEO Marc Benioff going on record to highlight that Salesforce had scored a top US Army contract over Palantir.
As one of the most talked-about and viable industries in the world, it is no surprise that Salesforce wants to solidify its place within it, making this partnership all the more unsurprising. Having the cornerstone be AI development is also important, setting Salesforce apart from its competitors that also have government contracts like the aforementioned Palantir and ServiceNow, which scored a landmark OneGov deal earlier this year.
Customer service has been regarded as one of AI’s top use cases since its boom back in 2022, and has driven a large part of the ongoing AI race. However, as more and more AI leaders double down on government business, there might be another race emerging.
Final Thoughts
2025 has been a year of endless opportunity for Salesforce, and this partnership with AGSN leans into making the most out of its proprietary AI, Agentforce.
As the AI race continues to drive ahead, it will be interesting to see how the top players fight for the lead and whether further government contracts or involvement will help get them there.
