Is the Salesforce Job Market Bouncing Back?
There have been rumors in the wind that the Salesforce job market could be bouncing back, but how much of it is fact compared to fiction?
New data from the UK shows that the UK Salesforce job market could be seeing a slow uptick, but according to a UK recruiting agency, that may not be the case. Prominent trends such as offshoring and increased partner hiring may have played a role here, but it’s likely that the situation isn’t anything to shout about.
Over in the US, opinions are mixed once again. Some experts believe that there is currently a mini-resurgence, whilst others believe that it could just be anecdotal. Ultimately, more time and research are needed to paint a clearer picture.
How Will Salesforce Revenue Cloud Compete Against ServiceNow’s Logik.AI?
Last month, Salesforce confirmed that its main CPQ product, Salesforce CPQ, was now in its End of Sale (EOS) phase. Not long after, news broke that ServiceNow – one of Salesforce’s up-and-coming competitors – had acquired Logik.AI for their own CPQ offering. The twist? Logik.AI had been a notable Salesforce partner for many years prior.
Now that CPQ is essentially out of the picture as a product for Salesforce, they’re left with their next shiny offering: Revenue Cloud. According to experts, the outlook looks good so far; Revenue Cloud has already developed and even surpassed some expectations, it has more functionality on the way, and it has a strong team behind it.
How it will compete against an offering like Logik.AI is less clear, but time will surely tell.
Salesforce-to-Salesforce Integration Using OAuth 2.0: A Comprehensive Guide
Salesforce-to-Salesforce integration is a common requirement for businesses operating across multiple orgs, and OAuth 2.0 offers a secure, scalable way to achieve it.
The process, which is fairly easy to follow and robust too, involves creating a Connected App in the source org to generate a Consumer Key and Secret, followed by setting up an Auth Provider and Named Credentials in the destination org.
This configuration simplifies authentication and enhances security, facilitating real-time collaboration and efficient data exchange between Salesforce instances, and is a great thing for developers and architects to have a handle on.
Salesforce Developer Salary Guide 2025: Key Trends and Analysis
It’s clear that it’s a turbulent world out there for all Salesforce roles, but if SF Ben’s surveys are anything to go by, developers are being hit pretty heavily.
Last year, one survey indicated that 54% of Salesforce Developers were satisfied with their jobs, and another 35% were neutral; this year, 51.9% believe their salary is not fair and equal compared to others in their role.
There is evidently a disconnect in the salary discourse, and it doesn’t stop there:
Many Salesforce Developers feel underpaid despite being satisfied with their jobs, and most are unhappy with how salary increases are handled.
Location plays a big role in salary, with developers in high-demand or high-cost regions (e.g. London) earning more.
Skills in modern tools and practices – like Lightning Web Components, DevOps, and robust testing – are key to higher salaries.
Some of this may not come as much of a surprise, but having this data all in one place can help you make better-informed salary decisions.
Salesforce Summer ‘25 Release: The New Debug Panel in Flow Builder
As Salesforce Flow becomes more and more widely used, it’s important to remember that with great power comes great responsibility. When working with Flow, there’s a huge responsibility to make sure that the automation works as expected, and with the new Debug Panel, this is now even more intuitive.
The Debug option in Salesforce Flow Builder is used to test and troubleshoot flows before activation. The Summer ‘25 release introduces enhancements to the Debug panel with a new card-based layout and improved organization of details, which is great news for admins and developers alike!
New features include expanding the panel and copying details, and there’s also a search bar to find specific information within the debug output. While the new Debug panel is not yet available for Screen Flows, Salesforce has stated that it is in progress.
