Introduction to JavaScript Course: Available Now

By Christine Marshall

JavaScript is the web’s programming language. It is code that allows a web browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, to do all the custom and enhanced functionality that Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) can’t do alone on a website. Approximately 99% of all websites use JavaScript to enhance their performance!

This course is designed to teach you JavaScript from the ground up; no prior coding experience is needed. Salesforce’s Trailhead, their free learning platform, is great for a lot of things, but not for teaching JavaScript – it doesn’t teach how to code. But this course does!

Who Is This Course For?

This course is for any Salesforce Developer, Admin, or ‘builder’ who wants to learn how to read and write fundamental JavaScript code, as well as how to use variables, operators, loops, collections, and functions.
