7+ Trailhead Badges for Learning AI

By Andrew Cook

Earlier this year, Salesforce announced that they would be introducing 35 new AI-focused Trailhead badges. Some of these have been already been released, with others soon to follow.

In this post, I will take a look at the best badges to take to get started with Salesforce AI. While not all of these badges are specifically about GPT technology, they will help you to understand the broader requirements needed to implement generative AI in Salesforce.

1. Salesforce Einstein Basics

I know what you’re thinking: “Einstein has been around for years”. Absolutely, Einstein was released back in 2014, nearly a decade ago. However, this is where AI started for Salesforce, which makes the Salesforce Einstein Basics a vitally important badge in understanding the fundamentals of Salesforce AI.

2. Data Quality

Another badge where you may be thinking: “Andrew, this has nothing to do with AI”. Technically, you’re absolutely right – but the key to getting the most out of any AI system is good data. This is something so many orgs still struggle with, which is why I think the Data Quality badge is so important in the preparation for any Salesforce GPT product.
