Every year at Dreamforce – Salesforce’s flagship live event in San Francisco – a seriously impressive headliner for their Dreamfest event is always heavily anticipated. These headliners wouldn’t look out of place headlining festivals like Coachella or Glastonbury.
Previous all-star lineups include the Foo Fighters, U2, Lenny Kravitz, The Killers, and Alicia Keys, among countless other sellout performers. This year, Elton John is out to dazzle us for the first time since he announced his retirement from touring last year!
Although he’s approaching 80 years old, Elton John still sells out shows around the world and has sold over 300 million records during his career. Here’s everything you need to know about Dreamfest and what to expect from this year’s show…
What Is Dreamfest?
Dreamfest is the main concert event at Dreamforce, and it always guarantees a good time. Aside from its entertainment value, Dreamfest is also a fundraiser, which raises money for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals.
Although Dreamfest last year was hosted at the Chase Center, this year it will come back to the appropriately named Oracle Park in San Francisco, home of the Giants.
If you haven’t attended before, you can expect the stadium to be in full swing, just like it would be for a concert or home game. The bars will be flowing, food stands open, and of course, the price for everything is included in your Dreamforce ticket!
When Is Dreamfest?
Dreamfest will take place on the evening of Wednesday 18 September (the second official day of Dreamforce). For those attending, you can look forward to a huge celebration with thousands of Trailblazers from around the world.
Summary
Dreamfest general admission is included with Dreamforce registration (yay!) but VIP experiences will be available via the UCSF benefit at The Concert for Kids.
