7. Product Owner | $148,000
Salesforce Product Owners have somewhat overlapping responsibilities with a CRM Manager and Administrator but are often part of a larger team. 6. Program Manager | $151,000
Salesforce Program Managers share many similarities with Salesforce Project Managers when it comes to ensuring the success of Salesforce products. However, the key distinction between their responsibilities is the fact that programs are typically made up of multiple other projects and have an overarching business strategy attached to them.
This additional layer of complexity requires additional skills and expertise on the part of program managers, and as such, they can expect a higher salary for the carried-out duties.
On average, at the highest levels, program managers will earn $199,000. Although junior positions don’t seem to exist, a similar junior role as a project manager will start at around $97,000
5. Developer | $160,000
Salesforce Developers are one of the largest demographics of Salesforce professionals, extending the Salesforce platform with Apex code for complex automation, as well as using Javascript to build custom Lightning Web Components.

4. Solution Architect | $162,000

On average, at the highest levels, technical architects will earn $222,000, while a junior position will start around $142,000.
1. DevOps Engineer | $192,000
A new entry at number one in our highest-paying Salesforce jobs series, and the honor goes to DevOps Engineers. As DevOps becomes more adopted within the Salesforce ecosystem, those who can architect the products and services being used can have a huge impact on the speed and quality of Salesforce releases.
In one individual’s case, the salary was as high as $275,000.
Bonus: Account Executives | $178,000
As always, we love to throw in a bonus, and this time the honor goes to account executives! This role would have slotted nicely into third place, but as it’s a bit of a rogue choice for a technical Salesforce professional, we’re happy to include it as a bonus.
Sales roles have always been very lucrative in the technology ecosystem, and depending on your skill set and interests, they could make a fantastic career path for those who are more commercially minded.
Mid-level roles will start at around $150,000 base plus commission (which can be around double this figure in total), while more senior roles start at around $195,000.
