Salesforce Announce New AI Specialist Certification

By Ben McCarthy

Salesforce has just released its next certification, and of course, it’s all about Artificial Intelligence – the AI Specialist.

Whilst the AI Associate cert that was released just under a year ago focuses on fundamental AI skills, the AI Specialist goes a few steps further and centers around Salesforce AI-enabled products.

The AI Specialist Certification

Salesforce has been focusing on Artificial Intelligence since 2016 when they officially debuted their Einstein product at Dreamforce.

Fast forward to today, and they’re gearing up to be one of the leading platforms for customers to take their automation to the next level using AI.

This includes out-of-the-box features such as Copilot, Einstein Sales Emails, and Service Replies. Features such as Prompt Builder and Model Builder allow you to take customization into your own hands, extending the power of the Salesforce platform. There’s also a potentially game-changing new product, the autonomous AI Agent, Einstein Sales and Service Agents

The new AI Specialist certification focuses on the AI products that Salesforce has been drip-feeding us over the past year. Think of the AI Specialist more like the Admin certification as opposed to the Associate; you will be required to understand how to implement Salesforce’s AI features, which features suit certain requirements, and how to secure AI features using the Einstein Trust Layer.
