Salesforce, the world’s smartest CRM, added Airbus as the newest member to its interesting and stellar customer list on June 21st 2017. Airbus an international pioneer in the aerospace industry with more than 130,000 employees is also one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world, chose Salesforce for its digital transformation. Airbus will deploy Salesforce Sales Cloud Einstein and Service Cloud Einstein as part of its global digital transformation strategy.
With Salesforce Einstein, Airbus will use artificial intelligence to more accurately understand its customers—leveraging data such as purchase history, support interactions and more—to make predictions and recommendations that optimize the customer experience. This will enable Airbus to be more innovative and respond more quickly to customer needs. In addition, the company is bringing its sales and service teams onto a single platform, increasing collaboration across departments and enabling smarter business decisions based on real-time data.
Airbus plans to deploy Salesforce across all its divisions, starting with its Corporate Jet, Commercial Aircraft, Helicopters and Services Divisions.
The news was confirmed by Alexandre Dayton, president and chief product officer, Salesforce where he stated that,” Airbus is a terrific example of a company that’s putting the customer in the center of everything. By deploying Salesforce, Airbus will be able to understand its customers’ desires more precisely and make smarter decisions that strengthen customer relationships and outcomes.”
