Metallica and Benson Boone will be the musical acts for Dreamforce this year, Salesforce has confirmed.
The thrash metal powerhouse and the backflipping ‘Beautiful Things’ singer will be performing at Dreamfest – the official party of the three-day lineup – during the biggest Salesforce event of the year, which is set to take place between October 14 and 16 in San Francisco.
Dreamforce ‘25 Agenda
Last year’s Dreamforce agenda included more than a thousand sessions during the three-day event.
Attendees were invited to see keynotes for favorite products, alongside smaller sessions on pretty much any Salesforce topic you can imagine.
Here’s what you can expect in 2025:
- Main Keynote: This is where you can hear all about the latest and greatest Salesforce announcements.
- Dreamfest: Time for the main party. Last year, Pink and Imagine Dragons performed.
- True to the Core: This is where you can ask senior Salesforce execs your questions. Previous Q&As have asked when Workflow Rules and Salesforce Classic will be retired, for example.
- High-Profile Interviews: You can expect to see some high-profile speakers at Dreamforce. Last year’s speakers included Kerry Washington, Dev Patel, Dr Jane Goodall, and Edward Norton.
“Dreamfest” has been headlined by some of the world’s biggest acts, including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica (yes, they’re back), Foo Fighters, and The Killers.
Alongside the official Salesforce events, there are plenty of partner parties hosted by Salesforce Consulting and AppExchange partners.
After revealing news of the musical lineup this year, Salesforce said in a statement: “Choose your stage, set your vibe, and kick off the night your way.
“Rock out with one of the most influential and successful rock bands in history, Metallica, or backflip into the high‑energy set of pop’s rising star, Benson Boone.
“Your night. Your choice. All to benefit UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. This is Dreamfest. Only at Dreamforce.”
