2026 SF Ben Salesforce Architect Survey Is Open: Participate Now!

By Wioletta Balicka

We’re running a 2026 Salesforce Architect Survey, and the goal is simple: to hear directly from architects about what their work actually looks like today.

Not in theory. Not in job descriptions. In practice.

The role of a Salesforce Architect within the Salesforce ecosystem continues to evolve quickly. New technologies – especially around AI – are influencing how solutions are designed and delivered. Organizations are changing how they structure teams. Expectations around speed, scale, and ownership are shifting.

But what isn’t always clear is how all of this is experienced on the ground by the people doing the work.

That’s why this survey is here to understand.

The Salesforce ecosystem is changing, and faster than ever before. You won’t be surprised to hear me suggest that artificial intelligence and big data are impacting how we work with Salesforce, the types of projects we work on, and how we think about our approach to Salesforce projects.

This survey is an opportunity to contribute your experience and wisdom to the annual SF Ben Architects Report – an incredibly valuable resource for any and all architects in the Salesforce space.

Why We’re Running This Survey

This is a chance to collect real input from architects about:

  • What their day-to-day responsibilities actually look like
  • How their role is changing inside their organizations
  • Where they are spending of their time and attention
  • How AI is being used (or not being used) in real delivery work
  • Which tools and skills are proving most relevant right now
  • What challenges are coming up repeatedly in practice

The focus is intentionally practical. We’re trying to establish a clear view of how the role is being experienced across different contexts and levels.

What the Survey Involves

The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and is structured into five short sections:

  • About You – Your context and responsibilities
  • Knowledge and Skills – How your role is evolving
  • Artificial Intelligence – Where it fits into your work today
  • Tools – What you actually use
  • Resources  – How you stay up to date

It’s designed to be straightforward and easy to complete.

Take Part

If you work as a Salesforce Architect in any capacity, your perspective is valuable for this research.

Thank You and Optional Prize Draw

After completing the survey, you’ll have the option to enter a prize draw as a thank you for your time.

10 winners will be randomly selected to receive a $150 gift card and will be contacted during the week commencing May 4, 2026.

Entry is optional and does not affect your survey responses in any way. Any personal details collected for the prize draw will only be used to administer the draw and will not be included in the survey analysis.

What Happens With the Results

Once the survey closes, the responses will be analysed and shared back with the community in a way that highlights key trends and insights.

The aim is to turn individual experiences into something that helps others understand how the role is developing across the ecosystem – and what that might mean going forward.

Final Note

This only works if people take the time to share their real experience.

If you know other architects who might be interested, please feel free to share the survey with them – broader participation helps ensure the findings reflect a wider range of perspectives.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. Any thoughts? Share them in the comments below!
