Salesforce Acquires AI Marketing Giant Qualified

Updated December 19, 2025

Salesforce is acquiring Qualified – an AI marketing business that makes an “always-on” lead generation agent designed to engage and convert inbound buyers.

Qualified, which bills itself as the number one pipeline generation platform for Salesforce customers, was founded by Kraig Swensrud, the company’s current CEO, who previously founded GetFeedback – an online survey solution for Salesforce. Before that, he had worked as CMO of Salesforce.

Co-founder Sean Whiteley, Qualified’s President, runs the Solutions Engineering team. He also previously worked at GetFeedback, as its CEO, and before that, was a Senior Vice President and General Manager at Salesforce.

Similar to Salesforce, the company says ‘trust’ is its number one value. Let’s take a look at what the acquisition means for Salesforce and the ecosystem.

Agentforce Sales and Agentforce Marketing Get A Boost

Qualified is a Salesforce AppExchange partner and a Salesforce Ventures portfolio company that provides intent data, conversational AI, and meeting scheduling capabilities, which help customers convert website traffic into pipeline.

The acquisition, which is expected to close in the first quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2027, will let Salesforce customers quickly deploy marketing agents that autonomously generate pipeline, the CRM giant says.

Salesforce hopes that Qualified’s tech will help it offer a more comprehensive agentic B2B marketing solution, boosting the Agentforce Sales and Agentforce Marketing products in particular.

Steve Fisher, President and Chief Product Officer, Salesforce, said: “The agentification of the enterprise continues to accelerate. By integrating Qualified’s agentic marketing expertise into Agentforce, we will enhance our ability to offer autonomous pipeline generation and empower our customers to scale their revenue teams with agent-first solutions that drive efficient growth.”

Kraig Swensrud, CEO and Co-Founder of Qualified, said: “We founded Qualified to revolutionize how B2B companies generate pipeline, and today, that vision takes a massive leap forward.

“As Salesforce alumni, my co-founders and I have always built our products to deeply integrate with Salesforce. Joining forces with Salesforce is a natural evolution that will allow us to bring the power of agentic marketing to the enterprise.”

Final Thoughts: Another Acquisition for Salesforce

The year is nearly at a close, and this marks Salesforce’s ninth acquisition of 2025. As we predicted back in January, this year has been huge for M&A, with the mothership notably taking on Informatica in an $8B deal in November.

Salesforce has also acquired Convergence.ai, Bluebirds, Waii, Regrello, Spindle AI, Apromore, and Doti, with a key theme being boosting Salesforce’s agentic AI capabilities to make Agentforce as powerful as possible.

This was the ‘year of Agentforce’, but this acquisition – among all the others – is yet another indication that 2026 might just be the year of Agentforce, Part Two. And, I daresay, we might see a similar theme going into 2027 as well.
