#NextGenTrailblazers: Apprentices Embarking on Salesforce Careers

By Simon Bozzoli

The LDN Apprenticeships Salesforce Apprenticeship Program has grown consistently since it launched in 2020. Based in London, our program has provided a diverse and talented group of Trailblazers with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the Salesforce ecosystem. We are proud of the impact it has had on our apprentices’ lives.

I’m pleased to say that the Salesforce Ben team have also benefited from our program, with more apprentices joining our growing library of success stories!

Apprentice Success Stories

Chloe Nti is a recent example of success in the Salesforce ecosystem. She joined our first ever cohort of apprentices when she secured a position with Digital Catapult. Chloe had just finished university and was looking for her next opportunity. She joined Digital Catapult with no knowledge of the Salesforce platform, but she quickly started to pick it up on the job.

Eighteen months later, Chloe holds two Salesforce certifications, is a qualified business analyst, and continues to enjoy her role and take on more responsibility at Digital Catapult. On top of that, she won our #NextGenTrailblazer of the year award.

Stories like Chloe’s are not uncommon when you look at LDN’s wider cohort of Salesforce apprentices. For LDN, this type of progression is in fact one of our most important measures of success. Every single one of the apprentices who have completed our programme (that’s 100%!) have progressed into a permanent role with their apprenticeship employer. This is a testament to the close working relationships we build with our customers, the quality of training and support we provide, and of course, the hard work and dedication of our apprentices.

Furthermore, our apprentices are truly from a diverse range of backgrounds and lived experiences – 50% of our apprentices are from ethnic minorities, 45% are female, 23% received free school meals, and 55% are under the age of 25. In addition to diversity of thought, experience and background, our apprentices bring eagerness and a desire to learn and grow to their employer organizations.

The success of our apprentices and our close working relationship with the team Salesforce and the Salesforce Talent Alliance, has helped to build our reputation in the Salesforce ecosystem. This has resulted in a significant increase in the number of employers interested in the programme.

Every day, companies who have chosen Salesforce as their digital transformation platform are also choosing LDN Apprenticeships to upskill their employees and bring their Salesforce skills requirements in house.

Build Your In-House Salesforce Team

As a company that has chosen Salesforce as your CRM platform, you’ll know that having skilled and knowledgeable employees who can effectively customize, manage, and administer the platform is crucial to your success. However, finding and hiring top Salesforce talent can be a challenge, and outsourcing these skills is costly.

Our program is specifically designed to help companies bring Salesforce skills in-house by training and developing talented individuals who are eager to learn and grow in their careers. Our apprenticeships offer a cost-effective way to build a pipeline of skilled Salesforce talent, either by upskilling or cross training existing employees, or by providing opportunities for young people to start their careers in the Salesforce ecosystem.

Through our program, apprentices receive extensive training on the Salesforce platform. They apply this learning to real-world situations, enabling them to rapidly consolidate their skills and become competent. In addition, our apprentices have the support of certified Skills Coaches who help them to develop essential skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.

By participating in our programme, companies do two things:

  1. They start to grow the pool of skilled Salesforce workers in their organization through upskilling.
  2. They tap into a pool of talented and motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow their knowledge of the platform.

Our recently relaunched Salesforce Apprenticeships include a Salesforce approved ADX201 Course, as well as a range of custom-built content designed to help your apprentices rapidly gain the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in their roles.

LDN and Salesforce Ben

We are thrilled to say that the team at Salesforce Ben have also benefited from the LDN Apprenticeship program, with new recruits joining back in 2022. Lauren Westwood and Lucy Mazalon attended a career kickstarter where they met and interviewed a group of apprentices, with a view to taking on a new team member to support video content creation.

Fully Funded Support for Your Team

Apprenticeships provide a cost-effective way to build a pipeline of skilled talent while also helping to address the skills gap in the Salesforce ecosystem. If you are looking to hire fresh new Salesforce talent for your team or seeking to cross train or reskill an existing member of your team to bolster your Salesforce capacity, LDN’s Salesforce apprenticeships provide the perfect solution.

We offer a complete recruitment service for new hires, and a highly supportive onboarding process for existing team members. Plus, all the training we offer is funded by the apprenticeship levy. This means that no matter what size of organization you are, Salesforce training from certified professionals that will help your team to learn and leverage the platform, is more affordable than ever.

At LDN Apprenticeships, we’re committed to providing high-quality training and support to our apprentices and employer partners, and we’re proud to be helping to develop the Salesforce talent of tomorrow.
