Salesforce has launched a Trailhead feature called Agentblazer Status, which is designed to hone your skills relating to AI-powered agents in Agentforce.
It’s basically a whole set of trails and badges that, when completed, will showcase and reflect how deeply you understand agentic AI concepts, tools, and even real-world use cases.
Agentblazer Status: “Your AI Learning Roadmap”
Salesforce says that, while some people are “off into the future” and having voice conversations with LLMs, some people don’t even know what an LLM is.
“But everyone needs to know the basic AI building blocks, and everyone needs to have the opportunity to become an expert,” a company spokesperson said.
The company says that, in answer to the question “how do I get started?”, they have launched Agentblazer Status on Trailhead, which it is calling “the first of its kind”.
Agentblazer Status is intended to be a mark of your Agentforce skills, giving ecosystem members a clear learning path to build autonomous agents and showcase their expertise in the “digital workforce revolution”.
There are a range of status levels to correspond with learners’ experience levels. They include:
- Agentblazer Champion (Level 1): This is for beginners to learn AI and Agentforce fundamentals and understand Data Cloud and governance. Learners will get help to build their first agent.
- Agentblazer Innovator (Level 2): Identify use cases for businesses and build custom agents with Salesforce’s Agent Builder. At this level, learners will configure Agentforce for Service and Sales, driving meaningful outcomes and delivering value while addressing business challenges.
- Agentblazer Legend (Level 3): At this highest level, learners will develop a deep understanding of advanced concepts and design complex strategies to manage and customize the Agentforce lifecycle within an organization. This level prepares you to earn the Agentforce Specialist certification.

Every Agentblazer level is associated with dedicated Trails, featuring modules and challenges that delve into AI and Agentforce.
Completing these earns you badges and points, which contribute towards your Agentblazer Status. This is then displayed on your Trailblazer Profile.
Agentblazer Status, Certifications, and What Changed in 2026
It’s evident that Salesforce is pushing deeper into AI and Agentforce, going as far as updating the Salesforce Admin Exam weightings to add a new category specifically for Agentforce. And while traditional certifications are still important, it’s clear that these alone aren’t enough to keep pace with how quickly Salesforce is evolving, along with AI and new technologies. To lower that barrier, Salesforce previously offered the Agentforce Specialist Certification Exam free of charge all through 2025.
In 2026, the Agentblazer Status now acts like a cross between a traditional certification (that you usually maintain yearly) and a Trailhead rank. Rather than being earned once and left untouched, the status now acts like a living, year-based recognition of your AI skills and is earned every calendar year. New badges are added to each trail to ensure learning stays aligned with the latest innovations, so expect that additional new badges may be required when renewing your status in future years.
Don’t worry about the Agentblazer Status you’ve earned in 2025 – it won’t expire, as past statuses will still remain visible on your Trailblazer profile as a permanent record of your progress.

Why Salesforce Introduced Agentblazer Status
In promotional material for the latest Agentblazer news, Leah McGowen-Hare, SVP, Trailblazer Community, says that digital labor “isn’t your competition – it’s your collaboration partner”, in what appears to be a bid to quell fears over AI taking people’s jobs.
In a blog, she writes: “We’re stepping into a world where we’re not just working alongside autonomous agents but also managing and learning from them. This is reciprocal augmentation – agents learn from us, and we learn from them.
“The question isn’t if you’ll work with AI, but how. How will you evaluate their performance? How will you leverage them to elevate customer experiences? The future of work isn’t just about using AI – it’s about evolving with it.”
She says that this is why developing “Agentforce literacy” is crucial, and the Agentblazer Statuses provide a structured pathway to master these technologies.
Leah adds: “We are committed to this learning journey with you. That’s why Salesforce is offering the first attempt at the Agentforce Specialist Certification exam free of charge through 2025.
“We hope you will join us, becoming a learner today to prepare for tomorrow.”
Final Thoughts
As Salesforce continues to invest heavily in AI and Agentforce, it’s clear that building AI literacy across the ecosystem has become a top priority. It seems that, the more people who invest time into learning about Agentforce, the better.
If a lack of technical knowledge and uncertainty about the AI product is a barrier to entry for some potential customers, then this anxiety might be quelled by existing users taking the Agentblazer Trails and becoming experts in properly deploying Agentforce.
In 2026, the shift toward year-based Agentblazer statuses reflects a broader truth about agentic AI: that it isn’t a skill you learn once and just walk away from – it’s an evolving learning path. As the platform evolves, so should you.
After all, digital labor isn’t your competition – it’s your collaboration partner… according to Salesforce.
