In exciting news, Salesforce have announced the launch of Trailblazer Community Groups for Architects! This is great news for existing or aspiring Architects looking for a place to learn and network with other like-minded individuals.
Here’s what we know so far…
What Will I Learn at an Architect Community Group?
These topics will be more advanced than you might find at an Admin group, but the idea is not to get caught in the weeds with code either, which would be more suitable for a Developer group.
Who Should Attend an Architect Community Group?
This new type of community group is aimed at Salesforce Architects who work across the suite of Salesforce products, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft, Heroku, Slack, and so on.
There are multiple types of Salesforce Architect, but every type of Architect is responsible for designing scalable solutions that will meet business needs now, and in the future. Their in-depth understanding of Salesforce architecture and products enables them to be big-picture thinkers, while following best practice.
I believe that aspiring Salesforce Architects should also utilize these groups as a great opportunity to upskill on complex topics, while learning from some of the best minds in the Salesforce eco-system.
How Do I Become an Architect Community Group Leader?
You can now apply to start a new Salesforce Architect Community Group via the Trailblazer Community Groups website. In order to apply, you should identify as a Salesforce Architect. You should have a passion for and a commitment to sharing knowledge and facilitating a community.
Will you be applying to lead an Architect Community Group, or are you looking forward to participating as a user group member? What sort of topics would you like to see presented and discussed at an Architect Group? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
