Repeating Engagement Studio Flows Introduction

By Lucy Mazalon

Yes, pinch yourself, it’s true! Repeating Engagement Studio programs have arrived!

Countless people over time have asked: “How can prospects go through an Engagement Programs more than once?” – it’s another highly-requested feature that Pardot have delivered on.

Today, you can apply this to your lead nurturing by opting-in to the beta testing (notification banner in Pardot Engagement Studio, like below):

Previously, a prospect could only go through a flow once. This was a pain for recurring campaigns, such as quarterly promotions, or weekly opportunity follow-ups or account management check-ins. When Prospects reached the end step, there was no going back. The only way to get around it was to copy the flow and have one program connect to the other based on a date field (which was not ideal!).

How it works

If you are familiar with Repeatable Automation Rules, then Repeatable Engagement Flows follow the same logic.

Once you check the box: ‘Allow prospects to enter program more than once’, other fields will appear (like below).

Then, you can set the number of days in between a prospect finishing the program, and then re-entering (note: this is limited to 365 days) and even limit the number of times they can repeat. This could be useful if you want to prevent Marketing Fatigue, or only share your exclusive offers a limited number of times!

Note: this is limited to 10 running programs at any one time.

That’s all for now.

From a few people’s reactions in and around the Pardot Community, I know that this is a big win! We can now map out many key nurturing campaigns, set it, forget it, and nail it.
