Calling All Trailblazers, Earn Badges & Win Prizes!

With the buzz of Dreamforce still circling the air just over a week after the 4 day long mega conference has ended, there are still more surprises to come. If there wasn’t enough reasons for you to log into Trailhead and start blazing your trail to a more fulfilling career, there is now another one. Announced a week ago, Trailhead are now giving away some amazing prizes to everyone that earns a badge between Nov 13th and Dec 31st. Your chances of winning the prize and the type of prize you can win, will all depend on your rank on Trailhead, as well as how many badges you earn between that period.

For each rank above, you can expect to win the prizes below…

Hiker – $25 USD Gift Card

Explorer – Philips Wake-up Alarm Clock

Adventurer – FitBit Charge 2

Mountaineer – Muse Meditation Headband

Expeditioner – Bose Wireless Headphones

Ranger – $1000 USD Gift Card

All prizes come with extra vouchers for your to spend at the Salesforce University certification store as well!

Now if you’re like me and have fallen behind with Trailhead in recent months, there is no time better than right now to login and start blazing those Trails. My personal aim to lock in 100 badges by the time the new years hits, earning as many Lightning badges as possible. What does your goal look like?

Happy Trailblazing!

  1. “Calling all trailblazers” is a bit of a misnomer to say the least. The contest is limited to participants from the USA, Australia, France, Germany, India, Canada (excluding Quebec), Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain and the United Kingdom. So just 1 country on the entire Asian continent, none (zero) from Africa and South America. I know that there might be a good reason for this, but it is still pretty annoying to those of us outside the accepted geographies to have this in our faces.
